All :)
I use an A4000/40, 18MB 32-bit RAM on-board, 2MB 16-bit RAM on a GVP SCSI
card. LightWave PAL 3.5 unbundled. No hacks, dongle hooked, everything by
the book.
I currently work on a hefty scene, some 60,000 polys, and it leaves me about
eight megs when working in Layout.
The problem is - When I quit LW, the memory count doesn't return to the
initial (boot) state. I get 8 megs free, with no program running.
When I re-enter LW and exit again, one meg is added.
If I clear the scene before i leave the first time, everything is OK.
Fortunately, during most of my waking hours LW is open <8-D, so it took me
some time to find and verify this and it doesn't bother me too much.
Anyone else encountered this? Is this a known bug?
Thanx for the attention,
Nir Hermoni, Israel
